Welcome to the

KINtuition Game

Day 6 of 7

What Else Is in My Pocket?

Welcome to day 6.

So far, the game has been: What did you notice?

And you’ve been noticing brilliantly — colours, weights, textures, whole little collections of impressions per object.

But those have all been describing one thing. Flat objects.

And some things have… more going on. 😄

Today I’d like you to play it a little differently because the object is… multilayered 😄

As always notice whatever comes first — that’s the one.

Then ask: “What else?”

If you see a colour… What else?
If you get a word… What else?
If you see an object… What else?

Get a piece of paper and a pen.

Don’t guess.

Don’t try to be right.

First impressions are golden. Write or draw the first thing that flashes into your mind — even and especially if it makes no sense and before the doubting mind arrives and edits it. 😉

Notice what comes through:

  • A temperature?
  • A texture?
  • A colour?
  • A shape?
  • A taste?
  • A smell?
  • A sound, word, noise, or even a song?
  • A feeling in your body?
  • A memory or a scene?
  • A weight or size?

And most importantly: There are no wrong answers. Whatever you get is unique to you. You might even have picked up on something I don’t know about.

Let's play 'What's in my pocket?'

Close your eyes.

Take a deeeeep breath in and a looooong breath out.

Notice whatever comes first.

Then ask: “What else?”

Wait a little. See what comes.

And again: “What else?”

Two or three rounds is plenty.

Don’t try to make the things connect.

Don’t try to work out what I’m hiding — that’s yesterday’s detective, and he’s already been caught once. 😉

Just collect whatever comes.

Write it all down or draw it.

So… what did you get?

Leave your glimpses in the comments below — even if they are tiny or don’t make any sense to you.

Especially those, actually 😄

It’s a printed photo of my dog Maui.

  • he’s a Shih Tzu and about 10 years old
  • the photo was taken at the top of Glastonbury Tor around sunrise
  • it was quite a windy morning

And if you got ‘the wrong thing’ today, be more creative with your interpretation. 😁

Tomorrow, we’ll open the insight pocket again and see what comes through.

See you tomorrow for the finale. 🤩

  1. It’s always interesting seeing what shows up in my mind. This time I saw a gold coin. 🙂

  2. I saw a nickel. Then I noticed it was in someone’s hand. And felt the tension in my upper back. And felt a sensation of floaty fabric skimming across a person.
