When the Robin, the Foxes, and the Whales Walked Into a Session…
What could a robin possibly know about your self-worth? Apparently, quite a lot.
Welcome to the
Day 4 of 7
We spend years being rewarded for knowing the “right answer”.
At school, there’s a question.
There’s only one correct answer.
You work it out.
You put your hand up.
You get it right.
Gold star. 😄
So when something arrives without an explanation attached, we don’t quite know what to do with it.
Especially when it doesn’t look like a “correct” answer: a colour. A shape. A random word. A feeling. Something that seems completely unrelated to what you’re actually trying to figure out.
And that’s where we get into trouble.
Because instead of thinking: “Hmm. That’s interesting.”
we think: “That can’t be right.”
My husband is a brilliant example of this.
He would tell you he didn’t get much from the first three days of What’s in My Pocket?
I’m not so sure. 😄
He got “a ball with a little stick attached to it” — before he’d even reached the photo of the pocket.
He dismissed it, because it didn’t arrive when he expected it to (meaning while he was staring at the pocket photo).
In case you can’t remember: day 1 was an apple.
Same thing. He got something while he was still reading the introduction. He drew this:
When he found out the answer was a glass, his first thought was “I got it wrong.”
Until I pointed out he’d actually got two pretty specific things right: the general form and the transparency.
Not the whole object.
But some of its characteristics — spot on.
Again while reading the introduction, he got a sailboat.
And while looking at the pocket photo, he got a carrot.
The sailboat made sense the moment he saw the answer — we used to live on the island of Mallorca, and the magnet came from there.
But the carrot?
He couldn’t see the connection at all.
And this is exactly why I’d love you to get creative with what you’re getting — it’s not really about “right” and “wrong”.
Three days of “getting nothing” or “getting the wrong thing” might actually be three days of getting things you didn’t realise you were getting.
So go back and look at what you wrote or drew on Days 1, 2 and 3.
Did you really get it wrong?
Or did you get more than you realised?
Sometimes the information is there.
We’re just expecting something else — so we don’t notice what we got.
And now, let’s open another pocket.
Get a piece of paper and a pen.
Don’t guess.
Don’t try to be right.
First impressions are golden. Write or draw the first thing that flashes into your mind — even and especially if it makes no sense and before the doubting mind arrives and edits it. 😉
Notice what comes through:
And most importantly: There are no wrong answers. Whatever you get is unique to you. You might even have picked up on something I don’t know about.
Close your eyes.
Take a deeeeep breath in and a looooong breath out.
Focus on this photo, then close your eyes and feel what comes through.
So… what did you get?
I’d love to know.
Leave your glimpses in the comments below — even if they are tiny or don’t make any sense to you.
Especially those, actually 😄
And tell me what you think the carrot relates to — and how many more things you got “right” than you realised at first.
It’s three frozen peas.

And if you got ‘the wrong thing’, be more creative with your interpretation. 😁
Tomorrow, we’ll open the insight pocket again and see what comes through.
See you tomorrow. 🤩

What could a robin possibly know about your self-worth? Apparently, quite a lot.

Pigs are clever. We know that. But what if they’re not just clever enough to solve puzzles or remember things? What if they’ve got wisdom to share?

Most cats have a job. Some catch mice. Some demand dinner. Suki apparently does this…

Hahaha, I had “candle lighter” for day 2 and “wooden clothespin” for day 3. Today my guess is a hair scrunchie.
Thank you for commenting on my coffee shop challenge post in German – I’m curious, where are you from?
Seems like I got it wrong all days…I had imagined pen or pencils, keys and bills… Lol
But tbh I had not written it down or doodled what came to me. Will try this next time.
For some reason I got an image of candy corn in my mind for today’s guess. I started questioning and judging my vision and realized that the whole point of this exercise is to not do that lol This has been a fun exercise with you. It is helping me be more curious about my intuitive thoughts and visions.
I would say there’s hardly anything in your pocket. Maybe just a kleenx. As for the carrot, I got that for day 2. I am also not good at this game.
